In the Autumn term, we will be covering the following Power Maths units:

• Unit 1 - Number - number and place value
• Unit 2 - Number - addition and subtraction
• Unit 3 - Number - additional and subtraction
• Unit 4 - Measurement
• Unit 5 - Number - multiplication and division

A big focus for us in year 2 is learning our number bonds to and within 20. To support your child with their learning in this area we recommend accessing Numbots and 1 minute maths (see below links). These are both brilliant apps designed to support children in becoming fluent with key number facts. Another way to provide your child with an opportunity to practise their knowledge is to make number bond flashcards at home and revisit them often.
