Procedures regarding what to do and where to look in the event of school closures. 

In the event of a school closure during the school day, we will send a text and email all parents to advise them of this.   If you need a different adult to collect your child please email the school office office@candlebylane.co.uk to let us know.  There will always be staff at school until all children have been collected. 

If the school has to be closed in the morning before the start of the school day, we will put it on the school website on the rolling banner on the home page. and we will also send a text and email all parents to advise them of this.

Where possible, please try not to ring the school office to ask if the school will be closed.  We will let you know via the systems above.  If you have not heard school will be closed via a text, email or by a message on the school website, we will be open.
