Week 4 - w/c 11th May

Sorting man made and natural objects.

During this activity you are going to use the vocabulary 'man made and natural.'   Man made means that an object has been made by human beings.  An object that is natural has come from nature and has not been made by man.

Can you think of some things that are man made and some things that are natural.  Pirates often come across lots of man made and natural objects.  Your challenge is to find a variety of objects from around your house and garden.  Then sort the objects into a pile of man made objects and a pile of natural items.  Next make a picture using man made items or natural items.  Or you could make one of each.  Enjoy!

Find some objects from around your house and garden. Next sort them into man made and natural objects.

Then make a picture using man made objects or natural objects. Mrs Cotton made a picture of a pirate.
