Look back with pride and forward with confidence

Week 2 - wb 27th April

Our reading and writing work on Purple Mash this week is based on 'The Settlers' which is a book about the Stone Age. It reminded us of when we learnt instructions on 'How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth.' We remembered how much fun we all had making up the actions to go with our instructions.

This week for an extra writing challenge we would like you to make up some instructions on 'How to Wash a Sabre Toothed Tiger.' You will have to find out about the animal and think of the different parts you will need to wash and what difficulties you might face! Don't forget to include the 'things you will need' and 'top tips' to help the reader.

Here is a link to a video of the book 'How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth':

Here are the instructions that we learnt in class:

You can write your instructions and send a picture to us. We can't wait to read them!
