Activity 5: To be able to use adjectives and conjunctions to describe

Today we want you to get creative using the conjunctions, adjectives and alliteration you have learned about this week.

Have a look at this picture of Lord Farquad's castle.

Can you write sentences to describe the castle? Try to include adjectives, alliteration and conjunctions. Who can use 2 adjectives to describe a noun? Remember to separate them with a comma.

Below are a few examples.

Lord Farquad's castle has pointy, sharp turrets and small arrow slits for shooting from. All around the castle there are luscious, emerald green hedgerows and towering, tall trees so Lord Farquad is protected from peeping visitors. Inside the castle, there are luxurious rooms filled with expensive, elegant jewels and crystals. From beyond his balcony, he can look out into the desolate, empty world around him.
