Purple Mash - Writing Activities
These three tasks link to the book 'Seven Hours to Save the World' that you have been working on for your Reading learning. Make sure you read the chapter first, answer the comprehension questions (the quiz) and then complete these tasks.
Task 1 - The End of the World?
In this chapter Lucy believed she was the only person left on the planet. Write a journal entry as if you think that you are the only person left alive. You can write as if you are in a different period of time from the present day.

Task 2 - Radio Broadcast
At the end of the chapter the old man is determined for Lucy to listen to the radio. What will be announced on the radio broadcast? Will Lucy be given some new information? Write the broadcast that Lucy is about to listen to.

Task 3 - Packing List
Lucy knows that she must venture out into the mist in order to complete her mission of saving the world. Write Lucy's packing list giving reasons for taking each item.
