VE Day Celebrations - 8th May 2020
VE Day - or 'Victory in Europe Day' - marks the day towards the end of World War Two (WW2) when fighting against Nazi Germany in Europe came to an end. This year marks the 75th Anniversary.
To help you learn about VE Day, the Royal British Legion have produced the home learning pack below. There is a powerpoint for you to look at and four activities you can complete.
Also below is a Hopes and Dreams Poppy that you can create. We hope you enjoy the activities and that you have a wonderful VE Day!

Send your teacher a picture of your plate when you're finished.... Good luck!

Have a go at getting fit to your own name... Use the sheet below to spell out your name!
I wonder whether some of you with longer names will use a nickname?
I wonder whether some of you with shorter names will increase the challenge and do your last name too?
I wonder whether everybody in your family can have a go?
