You can access this as by downloading an app on the AppStore, GooglePlay or through Amazon, or through the TTRS website.

Lexia

In your child's home/school diary, IF they require access to Lexia, they will have a log in sticker consisting of their username and password.

Input this into https://www.lexiacore5.com/ to complete your child's tasks!

Reading

To ensure your child's reading skills are progressing, we highly recommend reading with them at home 4 times per week and writing this in their diaries - this will mean they become a Fab4Reader and earn a Candleby Credit! This could be reading their school books, home books, magazines, recipes - anything!

Spellings

We don't complete formal spelling tests in Year 1, as we prefer to progress their phonetic spellings at this point; however, if you wish to work on some spellings, please consult the High Frequency Word list in your child's home school diary, as we love to see these spelt correctly in your child's work!

Homework

You will have received a 'Homework Bingo' sheet in your child's book bag (a copy is also below this text). This runs for the whole term; you can pick and choose a piece of homework to work on - make it a family project if you wish! Please note that homework is not compulsory, but really helps to support your child's learning in a creative way. It may also get your little one talking more about what they've learnt, too!
